The work behind the experience.
I worked on the core gameplay systems for WattzUp, with my main contribution focused on the bird’s-eye-view mechanics that allow players to navigate and interact with the household environment. I also contributed to the underlying game and data logic, including systems related to household appliances, energy consumption, electricity costs, and player interactions. These systems work together to translate the player’s decisions into changes in energy usage and cost, supporting WattzUp’s goal of helping players understand the impact of everyday household electricity consumption.
Where it led.
An in-development thesis game for students, families, and players interested in responsible energy use. Its intended systems balance consumption with comfort and daily needs.
